Blade Runner.

Our project for day one was past memories, present day and future aspirations. This was linked to the film we studied 'blade runner' A 1982 American dystopian science fictions thriller film directed by Ridley scott. I picked up on the fast movement shots on the replicants this rein hanced their robotic characteristics in contrast to the humans. I almost felt sympathetic towards the replicants as they had no source of identity  but only an identity which had been planted into their minds giving them artificial memories. This made me think about how important memory is, and how much identity is based upon memories. Wether people lock them up for a reason and cant remember them because they have caused pain, or at the time were not so important, and may be a blurred vision of that particular memory.
